Raphael who had just gotten out of his sis' house and onto the street saw Edward and the girl. He crouched into the crowd and listened as the man talked about the blue moon. So he had some sort of opinion of his own on the matter! He pushed his way closer. When he actually came into view he started shaking hands at random. As anyone else for the matter. Raph realized that the girl had a cutlass on her. That meant she came from another world to! or maybe he had been wrong all along... and he had just passed threw time and space. It started to seam like a reasonable explanation. If that was what had happened people had gotten a long way since 600! come to think about it 1400 years is a long time... but when you consider back in his days the only progress they made was... well... they didn't actually... Swords had gotten a bit better and they could make stronger bows... but that was nothing compared to what Raphael had learned about cars. He'd be taken for a wizard if he ever came back to his own time... or he could jut start acting it out again as if he knew nothing of this place and time. Then again all this might have been false information and he actually came from another world. He could clear things out with internet tomorrow then... if he could get the bloody computer running! He came back along the couple he had seen earlier. He smiled at them taking Edwards hand.

Didn't expect to see you two celebrating here! I would of seen you cuddled up inside by the fire! No time to be rude thought! Have yourselves a nice new millennia!

Raphael restrained himself from not hitting his own forehead. he then headed toward Big Ben in question looking at the monument in amazement... He always was when he saw such things nowadays.

Few seconds after we had made our pact, I saw him again. That man, it seemed like he was follow me, or Tara perhaps. I also wonder why is it that he keeps seeing us as lovers, since we are not. Although, I must admit we do look like that, since we have drawn ourselves from the crowd...Something's odd about this character...Suddenly, I remarked. He's not wearing any shirt, even in the cold of London. How was that possible? I didn't really pay any attention to what was happening; I was too absorbed in my thoughts and I didn't even realized Taranis had taken me by the arm again and that we had moved.

Elle soupira. Tout cela etait juste trop etrange pour elle. Puis, elle se rendit compte qu'elle n'avait rien mange depuis plus de 24 heures.

La viande etait un met exotique sur le bord d'un navire, c'est assez dur de faire la chasse sur la mer. Mais, en etant chef des pirates il y a antan, elle a put savourer de la viande fraiche et elle adorait ca.

We walked a bit to the restaurant I wanted to go. It had been at least a month I hadn't been there, since I had been busy doing a lot of other things. Although, I remembered it very well. I was pleased to see it was still open even if it was 00:30am. I feared it might had been closed due to the time, but I suppose that some persons were still celebrating in there, like every year...and hopefully it wouldn't be too crowded. To my great surprise, it was almost empty.

-Oho! Isn't it Mr. Blake! What a pleasant surprise!

-Hi there. Same seat as usual, sir.

-Of course, follow me.

I looked at Taranis, awaiting her reaction. I was hoping she wasn't too scared...

Taranis suivit Edward sans rien dire, car elle repassais tout ces informations. C'etait pas trop different comme autrefois. Mais quand elle arriva devant le restaurant, elle etait surprise.

Puis, surmontant sa stupeur, elle entra dans le batiment.

Puis elle prit le menu discretement et commenca a le dechiffrer avec peine.

Elle hocha la tête et continua sa lecture. Puisque la majorité des pirates ne savaient pas ecrire du tout, personne n'a songé à lui apprendre a écrire l'anglais.

Quand le serveur s'en alla, elle reprit la conversation ou ils l'avaient arrêté quand le serveur est venu.

Puis elle dit en se referant au vin:

We both ate quietly. It seemed like we were pretty starving. When we were done, I left the waiter the price written on the bill, and included some very nice tip, and we left. Then, we walked to another alley, darker than the others we went to. I didn't speak as we walk, trying to recalculate everything in my mind...and avoiding having to tell Taranis what I was going to do.

Great supper...people from the futur really know how to cook...maybe I should bring back a cook to have him on my ship...

Mais a part de ses pensees solitaires dans sa tete, elle ne parla point. Finalement, elle brisa le silence.
